Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge - August 2023

My family moved to the Toledo area my senior year of high school. It was fine, but not my favorite. Let's just say that my brother and I used to joke that Toledo is where clouds go to die. It has been eye-opening to rediscover this part of Ohio almost 25 years later and explore the many parks, refuges, and wildlife areas it offers. I'm now a huge fan and visit the area often!! This collection of photos is mostly from the Ottawa Wildlife Refuge. There are a few sprinkled in from the beach at Maumee Bay State Park and Howard Marsh.
